I Love Hollywood

“I Love Hollywood” is a three-piece collection inspired by the movie “Gentlemen prefer blondes” and the album “Starfucker”.

The collection follows the story of a girl named ”Hollywood” who is chasing her dream to become a star. Starting off as a show girl, “Hollywood is a showgirl” is the first look within this collection and it consists of a conical bust bra and a pair of hot pants, with the conical bra being inspired by the sweater girl trend of the 1950s. After finding her feet on the stage she is projected onto the big screen, “The Hollywood Starlet” is the second look within the collection and it is a dress that features an asymmetric keyhole cut out placed within the center front of the bodice that is sewn to a micro mini skirt that features a deconstructed skirt over lay crafted from bands that drape over the center front and back, connected via long straps that sit on the side seams and hang to the floor. After a long career, she is found herself thrown to the wolves and forced to become “The Hollywood Fatale”. The final garment within this collection consist of a conical bust bra, hot pants and a georgette crepe draped overlay.
